Image manager
Before you explore the Image element settings, learn how to use the image manager. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the image manager
Click the Image button to open the image manager window. The image manager has three tabs:
- Upload: Upload a new image.
- Create with AI: Generate images with AI (see the dedicated article for details).
- Used: View images you’ve previously uploaded.
Step 2: Upload an image
You can upload an image by:
- Dragging and dropping into the upload area.
- Clicking the upload area to open a file dialog.
- Pasting a direct image URL into the provided field.
Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WEBP
Maximum size: 3 MB or 4000 px width
Note: When adding an image via URL, the Upload button remains inactive until you paste a valid link.
Step 3: Edit the image
After uploading, you’ll see an editing window with the following options:
- Zoom: Adjust the image scale with a slider.
- Rotate: Rotate the image.
- Reset: Undo all edits.
The OK button applies changes and inserts the image into the selected cell.
Step 4: Manage the image in your email
The image appears in the selected row of your email.
Remove it anytime by clicking the trash bin icon in the right panel menu.
Settings
The Image element offers a range of flexible settings for adding and customizing images in your email design.
Image placement modes
- Fit: Places the image in the center at its original size.
- Center: Centers the image and stretches it to fit the row’s full width.
- Tile: Repeats the image to cover the entire canvas.
- Fill: Scales the image to fill the entire canvas.
Alternate text
You can add alternate text (alt and title attributes) for your image.
- Alt attribute: Describes the image if it fails to load and for screen readers.
- Title attribute: Shows additional information about the image on hover.
Auto width
Expand the image to fit the length of the row:
- Automatic: Expands to fit the row automatically.
- Manual: Set width from 0% to 100%.
Alignment
Align your image to the left, center, or right within the row.
Link
Enable the toggle and enter a URL (up to 200 characters) to make your image clickable.
Radius (corner rounding)
Round all corners of the image at once or round each corner separately.
Padding
Customize the space between the image and the borders of its container (row):
- Set left-right and top-bottom padding simultaneously
- Set padding for each side individually
