Scheduling campaigns: send now or later

In Sendigram, you can decide when your campaign should be delivered: immediately after setup, or at a scheduled time in the future. This flexibility helps you reach subscribers when they are most likely to engage.

1. Sending a Campaign Immediately

  1. Create your campaign and complete all required blocks: General, Contacts, Email Template, Scheduler.
  2. In the Scheduler block, select Send Now.
  3. Click Launch Campaign.
  4. The campaign will start sending right away to your chosen recipients.

When to use:

  • Time-sensitive announcements (e.g., flash sales, breaking news).
  • Urgent updates (e.g., service notifications).

2. Scheduling a Campaign for Later

  1. Go to the Scheduler block of your campaign.
  2. Select Schedule for Later.
  3. Choose the date and time, and how often to send the campaign.
    • The time zone will default to your account's settings.
    • Double-check if your audience is international — consider scheduling for their peak hours.

When to use:

  • Newsletters that go out at a consistent time (e.g., every Monday at 9 a.m.).
  • Promotions timed for specific events (e.g., holiday offers).
  • Audience engagement optimization (e.g., sending when past data shows highest open rates).

3. Reviewing Scheduled Campaigns

  • All scheduled campaigns appear in the Campaigns → Calendar section.
  • From there, you can:
    • See all the scheduled campaigns in a calendar view.
    • Reschedule to a different time.
    • Cancel if you no longer want it to be sent.
