Transferring admin rights to another user

In Sendigram, Admins have full access to billing, domains, and user management. Sometimes, it's necessary to transfer Admin rights — for example, if the account owner changes, a team member is promoted, or you want to hand over account management responsibilities.

1. Who Can Transfer Admin Rights?

  • Only an admin can assign admin rights to another user.
  • At least one Admin must always remain active in the account.

2. Steps to Transfer Admin Rights

  1. Log in as an admin.
  2. Go to Account Settings → Users.
  3. Find the user you want to promote.
  4. Click ... → Edit in the Actions column.
  5. Hover your cursor over the *** button and click Transfer admin rights.
  6. Save changes.

3. What Happens After Transfer

  • The new Admin immediately gains full control over:
    • Billing & subscription settings.
    • Domain and IP configuration.
    • User management (invite, delete, role changes).
  • You'll receive a confirmation that the role change is complete.
